Unfortunately, it was paradise, takes its name and inspiration from Mahmoud Darwish’s poetry of exile. These collages are part of a social-practice project that includes interviews with three generations of Palestinian refugees, now living in Ramallah, remembering their home villages inside the 1948 borders of Israel.
