I join the visitors at the gates

In I Join the Visitors at the Gates, I engage with the process of grief through ritual and craft, creating a coffin and artifact for each of the 40 Rules of Love as expressed by Shams al Tabriz, the Sufi mystic. This work is both a meditation on loss and a gesture of devotion—an attempt to embody spiritual truths through acts of remembrance and making.
